Nia's Origin
Nia was among the many refugees who were diplaced in the wake of the seventh umbral calamity. One of a wave of drifters wandering aimlessly searching for safe havens. After hearing that Uldah's guilds were looking to bolster their ranks, she decided to make a bid for one of the various Guilds within the city.Unfortunately, six guilds, six rejections. She simply lacked the aptitude they were looking for. Bracing for certain defeat she applied for her last hope, the Goldsmith's guild. After she swallowed the last remnants of her pride and as sure as the last six failures, so too did she add a seventh failed test.As Nia apologized and turned to leave in shame she was met by a soft spoken "Where are your spectacles?" which in turn prompted Nia to turn around and utter disbelief"I... wear... spectacles?""Looks like you do now~" Serendipity responded nearly in song as she placed a pair of unremarkable spectacles over Nia's eyes and the face of the young Hyur slowly came into focus. "Now, grab that hammer and give it another shot".Years later, Nia is an accomplished goldsmith and miner whose insatiable curiosity and wanderlust sends her across to various lands in a journey to continue to refine her trades. To this day she still has that pair of unremarkable spectacles.
Dreams of Adventure
Nia periodically experiences dreams of adventure and heroism. The dream of a woman and her closest companions adventuring across the star and into the cosmos. A wonderful dream, that always ends far too soon.As the dreams appear unceasing, she has started to maintain a dream journal of sorts to chronicle the various adventures in this dream world."Sometimes I wish this dream would never end"

Hello! I'm the lady behind Nia Saeli, I'm a relatively long time player of FF14. I tend to idle around at one of my houses when not crafting, running deep dungeons, plucking away at "The Luckiest of Ladies" title, etc.I've only recently gotten back in RP after a long hiatus, but I would love to participate.Other random details about me:
- While I play everything to a certain degree, my favorite jobs are are Paladin, Pictomancer, and Samurai. - I've been playing on and off since 2.0 and pretty steadily since Endwalker dropped.
- Outside of true fashion endgame, my favorite content is the expert crafting, solo deep dungeons and bluemage.
